WHO IS JEREMIAH LASALLE
Jeremiah LaSalle is the author of The Chronicles of the Crossguard, a young adult speculative fantasy series blending supernatural warfare, mythic worldbuilding, and themes of purpose, identity, and conviction. Inspired by a lifelong passion for storytelling, anime, fantasy literature, and cinematic worldbuilding, Jeremiah has spent nearly a decade developing the Crossguard universe and the larger mythology surrounding the Order of the Crossguard.
HEY! MY NAME IS JEREMIAH.
I’m a speculative fantasy and thriller author, independent publisher, and founder of House of Lore Books — the personal imprint I've dedicated to immersive storytelling, expansive mythologies, and stories built to stand the test of time. I’m also a former member of the Jerry Jenkins Writers Guild, where I continue refining my craft alongside a community of professional writers and storytellers.
When I was twelve years old, I first brought an idea to paper. Over the following decade, that idea evolved into The Chronicles of the Crossguard — a long-form speculative fantasy saga exploring hidden darkness, internal growth, sacrifice, and the unseen battles that shape who we become. The series now serves as the foundation of a much larger interconnected universe that I continue to develop through House of Lore Books.
My stories blend fantasy, thriller, mystery, and cinematic storytelling with a strong focus on emotional realism and character transformation. I’ve always believed the most powerful stories are not the ones you simply watch unfold — they’re the ones you feel yourself living inside. Stories where readers walk beside the characters through fear, purpose, corruption, loss, and redemption.
Drawing inspiration from literature, anime, film, music, and storytellers across every medium, I approach storytelling as both creative expression and long-term worldbuilding. Every project I create is designed to feel immersive, emotionally grounded, and difficult to fully leave behind. More than anything, I want readers to finish my stories feeling satisfied, emotionally impacted, and hungry for more.
My philosophy toward storytelling has always been simple:
“Permanence only exists within the mind. My stories will become permanent within the minds of my readers — stories that will stand through time, through generations.”
